What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist (Inpatient) position at Johns Hopkins Medicine?
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Conducts all physical therapy program evaluation and treatment of patients according to standards, policies and procedures of the hospital, the District of Columbia Physical Therapy Practice Act, and the APTA. Has current DC PT license. Will participate in any of the PT department rotations including inpatients, orthopaedics, and outpatients.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in physical therapy, including or supplemented by one year of approved clinical internship is necessary.
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively and the ability to be flexible.
- DC License required.
