Electrical Engineer

JSW Steel is seeking to hire an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in our Baytown, TX facility!

Responsibilities:

· Research, develop, design, test and implement the installation of electrical systems.

· Develop procedures to provide efficient and economical distribution of electrical power.

· Provided guidance to power factors, usage and modernization of electrical equipment.

· Evaluate operational systems and provide design modification recommendations to eliminate the cause of malfunctions.

· Consults with power distribution companies as to efficient electrical usage and distribution.

· Provide guidance to electrical and electronic technicians in regard to repair, installation and maintenance.

· Develop computer controls for automated equipment.

· Direct the installation of electronic and electrical equipment.

· Provide vendors and suppliers of equipment with technical data for improvements on operational controls and equipment.

· Monitor plant illumination, UT equipment and radiological equipment for safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

· Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related.

· 5 or more years of experience in Mechanical Engineering in industrial plants.

· Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).

· Experience working with voltage up to 480V.

· Knowledge of basic safety rules and regulations.
