What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Service Representative position at Kansas Orthopaedic Center?
Join our health care team by assisting patients and referring physician offices over the phone with scheduling appointments and taking messages.
Position Schedule: Part-time, Monday - Friday, 1pm - 5pm. No evening work, no weekend work!
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take messages electronically and process tasks correctly.
Accurately schedule or reschedule patient appointments and special appointments.
Initiate patient registration at time appointment is made and send patient information packet and paperwork to all new patients.
Punctual attendance at all facility inservices, departmental staff meetings and scheduled shifts
Contribute to a positive work climate and overall team effort of the organization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous multi-line phone experience with great customer service skills preferred
Previous medical office experience a plus
Proficiency with Windows based computer applications
