What’s a typical day as a Forklift Operator? You’ll be:
- Operating sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts to load and unload materials and products.
- Moving materials to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks efficiently.
- Ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper labeling of goods.
- Inspecting forklifts daily for safety and operational issues.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Following company safety protocols and assisting with other general warehouse duties as needed.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Hold a valid forklift certification or have the ability to become certified.
- Possess proven experience operating forklifts or other industrial vehicles.
- Can lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Have basic math and inventory skills (a plus).
