Maintenance Technician

Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will assist with maintaining daily operations of the physical facility as well as the central plant. Will perform preventative and corrective maintenance duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performing a wide range of maintenance duties, including but not limited to preventative and corrective maintenance actions.
• Coordination with departments to ensure no disruption to production.
• Maintain exterior cleanliness and functionality of building and parking lot.

• Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and making adjustments
• Performing a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

• Complying with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly facility along with assisting in the receipt of stock, organize and maintain supplies and equipment.

• Detecting faulty operations and defective material and reporting those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

• Suggest improvements and review progress with department leads regularly.
• Performing other work-related duties as assigned.

• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Ability to get along and work effectively with others.
