Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will assist with maintaining daily operations of the physical facility as well as the central plant. Will perform preventative and corrective maintenance duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performing a wide range of maintenance duties, including but not limited to preventative and corrective maintenance actions.
- Coordination with departments to ensure no disruption to production.
- Maintain exterior cleanliness and functionality of building and parking lot.
- Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and making adjustments
- Performing a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Complying with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly facility along with assisting in the receipt of stock, organize and maintain supplies and equipment.
- Detecting faulty operations and defective material and reporting those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Suggest improvements and review progress with department leads regularly.
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
- Ability to get along and work effectively with others.
