Robotics Technician

Position Summary: Technician, SE Robot Team

This role supports digital factory initiatives and robotic welding processes, primarily in a manufacturing or automotive environment. The technician will be involved in robotic welding feasibility studies, cycle time estimation, 3D equipment modeling, and offline robot programming using digital engineering tools.

The work involves:

• 3D design (CATIA, DELMIA, SolidWorks)
• Offline robot programming/teaching
• Digital factory updates (Delmia C3, AutoCAD)
• Welding process studies (Z1/Z2 welding)
• MS Office tools, especially Excel
• Documentation and data format translation for robotic strategies

The role may require travel (up to 10%) and the use of steel toe boots for on-site support.

What to Look for in a Candidate ProfileMust-Haves:

• 2 years of relevant professional experience
• A.S. degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 3D design software proficiency (especially CATIA, DELMIA, SolidWorks)
• Experience in manufacturing/robotics
• Strong MS Excel and MS Office skills
• Comfortable with offline robot programming or similar digital engineering workflows

Nice-to-Haves (Preferred but not required):

• MS SharePoint experience
• VB/VBA scripting experience
• Experience with automated robotic welding (spot/arc)
• Experience with robotic material handling or data preparation for robotics

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
