What are the responsibilities and job description for the Membership Director (GM) position at LA Fitness?
The Membership Director is responsible for leading the sales team, supporting personal training and operation's needs. Developing strategic sales plans, and executing initiatives that increase membership, drive revenue, and enhance the member experience. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, customer-focused, and passionate about fitness.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones
Lead and manage a team of Membership Consultants
Set and achieve monthly sales goals and KPIs
Conduct facility tours and consultations with prospective members
Maintain a high conversion rate from inquiries to memberships
Partner with marketing on promotions and community outreach
Track and report sales metrics and performance to management
Provide excellent customer service and resolve member concerns
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry
Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and coach a team
Goal-driven, organized, and detail-oriented
Passion for health and fitness is a plus
