What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Crew Team Member position at Lake County Captains?
Duties:
- Lake County Captains are looking for qualified individuals who would like to pursue, or have a career in the sports turf industry.
- Candidates must be able to lift 50lbs, stand and walk for extended periods of time, work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Candidates must be able to work in a fast pace environment, pay close attention to details, and have good communication skills.
- Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
- Duties for this position include mowing, edging, sodding, clay and infield skin maintenance, cultural practices, repairing irrigation, fertilizing, and pre and post game duties as assigned.
