We specialize in medication management, individual therapy, TMS, Spravato and holistic wellness support. We pride ourselves on providing patient centered care in a supportive environment.
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive mental health care, demonstrate empathy and a commitment to improving the well being of our diverse patient community.
This role may require occasional travel to provide coverage at our other practice locations as needed or at the discretion of the organization's need
Key Responsibilities
- New Patient and Follow up and Acute Same Day appointments.
- Treatment of common mental health issues in line with treatment guidelines
- Knowledge of ability to learn implementing Gene Sight into practice
- Knowledge or ability to learn regulations of practice at respective site
- Refer to internal Providers, Therapist, TMS and Spravato Coordinators
- Attend educational offerings and contribute to team meetings and attend education lunches.
- Provide accurate diagnosis for presenting features as recognized in the DSM
- Order medications and monitor their effectiveness (only within scope of practice)
- Provide therapeutic interventions and counseling to patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families (with consent) about mental health conditions and treatment options
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality
- Complete Paperwork needed by patients
- Communicate and complete daily check in and out with the front desk and MA
- Treat all patients with dignity and respect
- Ability to Baker Act and attend Baker Act training
- Active DEA and FL APRN with education and national PMHNP certification
Requirements
- Valid nursing license and psychiatric nurse practitioner license in the state of FL
- MSN or DNP in Nursing in Mental Health
- Certification from national association as a PMHNP
- Experience working in psychiatric or mental health settings
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their side effects
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating mental health disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
