Responsibilities:
- Oversee account analysis and reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy in all financial data.
- Lead technical accounting functions and provide expertise in financial operations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, utilizing QuickBooks and Skyline (Property Management Software).
- Develop and monitor budgets, and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Coordinate year-end financial activities with external CPA partners.
- Oversee tenant information management, and ensure smooth month-end closing in Skyline.
- Perform cash flow analysis and recommend strategies for liquidity improvement.
- Support team members by providing necessary financial information and guidance.
- Handle general administrative tasks including data entry, document management, and answering phone inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role.
- Expertise in account analysis, reconciliation, and technical accounting.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and property management software (Skyline/Yardi).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality in handling financial data.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, particularly in real estate management.
- Extensive experience with QuickBooks and property management accounting software.
