Job Summary:
Senior trust accounting specialist to manage client trust funds, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate records in a law firm or fiduciary setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily trust transactions, reconciliations, and interest calculations.
- Perform three-way trust reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare trust reports and support audits/1099-INT reporting.
- Monitor balances and escalate issues per bar rules.
- Assist attorneys with trust disbursements and ledger maintenance.
Qualifications:
- 5 years accounting with 3 years in trust accounting.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of IOLTA and state bar trust rules.
- Proficiency in trust software (CosmoLex, TrustBooks, Clio).
- Exceptional detail orientation and confidentiality.
Salary : $86,000 - $96,000
