Senior Technical Accountant

Position Summary:

The Senior Technical Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements, with a focus on complex accounting areas. This position requires a CPA with 3-5 years of experience, offering an opportunity to lead technical accounting initiatives and support strategic financial decisions.

Essential Functions:

• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
• Manage technical accounting matters, including research, documentation, and implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and analyses, resolving discrepancies to maintain ledger accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on technical accuracy.
• Provide guidance on accounting policies and procedures, ensuring consistency across the organization.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and serve as a key point of contact during external audits.
• Develop and deliver financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key insights and trends.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential required.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in technical accounting or financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and experience with SEC reporting or public company accounting preferred.
