Position Summary:
The Senior Technical Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements, with a focus on complex accounting areas. Essential Functions:
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
- Manage technical accounting matters, including research, documentation, and implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and analyses, resolving discrepancies to maintain ledger accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on technical accuracy.
- Provide guidance on accounting policies and procedures, ensuring consistency across the organization.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and serve as a key point of contact during external audits.
- Develop and deliver financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key insights and trends.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential required.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in technical accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and experience with SEC reporting or public company accounting preferred.
