Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a full caseload of California Lemon Law and consumer protection cases
- Litigate against major auto manufacturers and dealerships
- Draft and argue dispositive motions (MSJs, demurrers, motions to compel, etc.)
- Take and defend depositions, manage written discovery, and attend court hearings
- Engage in vehicle inspections, expert consultations, and pre-trial preparation
- Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and trials
- Communicate directly with clients and provide regular case updates
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in California
- 3 years of civil litigation experience — experience in Lemon Law, consumer protection, or trial work strongly preferred
- Excellent legal writing, courtroom presence, and time management skills
- Passion for advocacy, justice, and client-centered litigation
- Comfortable in a high-volume, results-driven litigation setting
