Post-Bar Law Clerk

Location: Beverly Hills, California

About the Role:

Alpha Law Firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Post-Bar Law Clerk to join our legal team. This position is ideal for a recent law school graduate who has sat for the bar exam and is awaiting results. You’ll gain valuable hands-on legal experience while working under the supervision of licensed attorneys in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and motions
• Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, compiling evidence, and preparing witness files
• Review discovery materials and assist with document production
• Attend hearings, depositions, and client meetings (as appropriate)
• Provide general support to attorneys on case strategy and file management
• Perform other legal and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Completion of the bar exam and pending results
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or clerkship experience in a legal setting
• Proficiency with legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)
• Familiarity with case management software
