Human Resources Manager
Location: Onsite – Tualatin, OR

About the Role
Our client is seeking a hands-on and experienced Human Resources Manager to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Tualatin, OR. This role is pivotal in providing tactical HR support and fostering a strong partnership with the Plant Manager and broader HR team. The ideal candidate will bring a full-spectrum HR background with a strong emphasis on compliance, employee relations, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR contact for the onsite manufacturing facility.
Partner closely with the Plant Manager to support workforce planning, employee engagement, and performance management.
Provide tactical HR support including employee relations, coaching, conflict resolution, and policy enforcement.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Lead or support safety initiatives including safety walks, incident investigations, and OSHA reporting.
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies in collaboration with the corporate HR team.
Manage HR metrics and reporting, including headcount, turnover, and safety data.
Qualifications
5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Experience with safety programs and OSHA compliance is highly preferred.
Proven ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organization.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
