Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will lead a team of accountants, manage month-end close processes, and support strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing, technology.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
