Temporary Accounting Manager
Location: Oviedo, FL

An established private company is seeking a Temporary Accounting Manager to provide hands-on support for corporate accounting functions. This role will assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations during a transition period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute month-end close activities
- Review and prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with internal and external financial reporting
- Support year-end audit preparation and related tasks
- Oversee a small team of accounting staff
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA preferred
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Prior experience in leadership or supervisory roles preferred
