They are hiring for a Bilingual Billing & Collections Specialist to manage a regional portfolio, commercial collections, account reconciliations and invoicing. Primary Functions:
- Invoicing customers and coordinating posting of collection
- Generating credit memos and adjustments as needed
- Planning and coordinating international shipping transactions, including generating commercial invoices and export documentation
- Contacting customers on past dues balances per collection guidelines
- Resolving issues, researching and adjudicating customer claims of payments, researching and resolving charge-backs, returns, short pays, and bad checks
- Maintaining accurate customer overview of A/R balances and activities
- Managing collection activities such as sending out follow-up inquiries, contacting customers by phone, negotiating with past-due accounts, and recommending accounts for collection to Department Manager
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Posting weekly adjustments to customer accounts and general ledger accounts
- Upload invoices into different customer portals
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/ Spanish)- required
- 2 years of related B2B Collections and AR experience
- Intermediate level of skill with MS Office programs including Word and Excel
- Basic knowledge of accounting fundamentals and principles
