A/R, Credit and Collections Specialist
Location: West Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)
Salary: $24/hr - $27/hr
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented A/R, Credit and Collections Specialist to join our client's team in West Phoenix. If you have a background in construction, experience with lien releases and waivers, and a passion for collections, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee and manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections.
- Credit Analysis: Evaluate credit applications and conduct thorough credit checks to assess the creditworthiness of potential clients.
- Collections: Proactively follow up on overdue accounts, initiate collection efforts, and negotiate payment plans to ensure timely recovery of outstanding balances.
- Lien Release and Waivers: Handle lien releases, waivers, and related documentation, ensuring compliance with lien laws and regulations.
- Client Communication: Maintain professional and effective communication with clients regarding their accounts, payments, and any outstanding issues.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts receivable, credit applications, and collection activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies and ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit, and collections, preferably within the construction industry.
- Lien Knowledge: Strong understanding of lien laws, lien releases, and lien waivers.
- Construction Background: Familiarity with the construction industry and its specific billing and collection processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
