I am currently working with a leading Chicago-based law firm, who are actively looking to recruit an experienced Attorney who specializes in commercial litigation.
Job Description:
This firm is seeking a talented and motivated Business Litigation Associate to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation and a passion for delivering exceptional legal services. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cases, collaborate with experienced attorneys, and grow professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- This role will assist with a broad array of matters, including sophisticated and complex commercial litigation cases, including those that involve all aspects of technology, business, and intellectual property disputes.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Assist with deposition preparation and witness interviews.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings.
- Provide general support to the litigation department as needed.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a leading accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar of Illinois
- 5 years of experience in business or commercial litigation.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to client service and ethical practice.
