Seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Cost Accounting Supervisor to lead the cost accounting team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate cost analysis, supporting financial planning, and driving operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of cost accountants, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of cost reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor inventory valuation, standard costs, and variances.
- Collaborate with operations and finance teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Support audits and provide documentation as needed.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 5 years of experience in cost accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- SAP Experience is a must
- Manufacturing industry experience is a must
- Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
