LHH is currently searching for an Event Manager for a permanent opportunity with our client in the Fort Worth, TX area. This role will get to lead, coordinate, and execute a range of event experiences and sponsorship initiatives in the agriculture industry. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in end-to-end event management, a detail-oriented approach, and a flair for building strategic partnerships. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Fort Worth, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute events of varying sizes and formats, including conferences, expos, trade shows, product launches, training sessions, and networking gatherings.
- Manage event logistics from conception to completion, including budget development, vendor negotiation, site selection, scheduling, permits, and risk management.
- Develop and implement sponsorship strategies, including sourcing, securing, and nurturing sponsor relationships.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure event objectives align with organizational goals and brand standards.
- Coordinate and supervise onsite event set-up, execution, and tear-down, ensuring all details run smoothly and efficiently.
- Build relationships with industry partners, vendors, and key stakeholders to enhance event quality and visibility.
- Analyze event outcomes and report on key performance indicators to measure success and identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices for event management, particularly in agriculture or related industries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience planning and executing events and sponsorships of different sizes and types.
- Prior experience working within the agriculture industry or a closely related sector (agribusiness, food production, rural development, etc.).
- Proficiency in event management software and digital marketing tools.
- Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving and responding to unexpected challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite in Fort Worth, TX, with occasional evening or weekend commitments as events require.
