Role Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive and organized HR Generalist to join their team. You’ll support full-cycle HR functions—from recruitment and onboarding, to benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and HR policy implementation. This role is 100% on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, post, and manage job requisitions; screen candidates; schedule interviews; coordinate onboarding.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and support employee offboarding.
- Administer benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, leave management).
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with NJ state and federal employment laws.
- Update and maintain HRIS and internal records.
- Support performance management and staff training initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 years of generalist HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or operations environment.
- Strong knowledge of NJ and federal employment laws
- Proficiency with HRIS
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
💰 Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
This position is located in Bridgeton, New Jersey. The salary range of $65,000 – $80,000 is a good faith estimate based on the position’s responsibilities, the experience of potential candidates, and the general wage structure for this geographic area. Actual compensation may depend on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In accordance with the New Jersey Equal Pay Act and related state laws, we confirm that all salary levels are not based on prior salary history. Candidates may include salary expectations in their cover letter or comments during the application process. Locally mandated benefits and leave entitlements will be provided per New Jersey law.
