Job Title: Litigation Paralegal – Insurance Defense (Hybrid, 1 Day On-Site)
Aliso Viejo, CA (Hybrid – 1 day on-site per week)

LHH is partnering with a respected insurance defense law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Aliso Viejo, CA. This is a hybrid position with only one in-office day per week, offering flexibility and work-life balance for skilled paralegals in the Southern California area.
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process, with a primary focus on insurance defense matters. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management from inception through trial or settlement
- Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
- Organize and maintain case files, discovery, and trial preparation materials
- Conduct fact investigation and medical record reviews
- Summarize depositions, medical records, and expert reports
- Coordinate and manage discovery, including document production and e-discovery
- Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
- Support attorneys in trial preparation and attend trials as needed
Qualifications:
- 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense
- Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program required
- Knowledge of California civil litigation rules and procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Able to work on-site one day per week in Aliso Viejo, CA
