What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Property Accountant, 85K-90K+Bonus (Hybrid) position at LHH?
LHH is working with a holding company that owns a multi-unit, real estate organization. The company is performing a number of acquisitions, and they are looking for a sharp Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience and have a background in property accounting. This is a full-cycle accounting role.
This position pays 85K-90K Bonus and offers a Hybrid work schedule.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides financial statement guidance to Operations in multi-location environment
- Reviews financial data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
- Assists in the month end close process
- Completes balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Ensures that appropriate controls and compliance processes are followed
- Makes recommendations for process improvements and automation opportunities
- Prepares journal entries
- Prepare schedules to ensure audit compliance
- Prepares planned and ad-hoc reports
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Multi-unit experience preferred
