How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:
The Inventory Specialist position Provides general inventory services including cycle counting, assistance with reconciling discrepancies, put away of tissue, and discard of tissue. Performs physical inspection upon receipt of tissue and creates/runs reports for inventory tasks.
What you’ll do:
- Perform receipt, inspection and transfer of tissue in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Ensure proper documentation and traceability of tissue transfers to Research & Development, Distribution, and Production departments in accordance with Quality Systems standards.
- Dispose of expired or unsuitable grafts, when necessary, into bio-hazard bin using appropriate safety measures and enter appropriate information regarding discarded graft into appropriate databases.
- Receive finished goods from production and place grafts into proper physical location in accordance with SOP
- Maintain accurate records and inventory accountability for quarantined and/or released inventory.
- Order, pull, and prepare supplies as required.
- Correspond with Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, Quality Control, Information Systems, Production, Purchasing, and Production Planning, as needed, to resolve issues and deal with daily tasks within the department.
- Assist with packing and unpacking of tissue from irradiation facility in accordance with SOP, as needed.
- Equipment maintenance and monitoring as necessary.
What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of Inventory Database experience
- Two (2) years of Warehousing, Storeroom or Inventory experience
Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:
- One (1) year of SAP Experience preferred
These would be nice too (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
- Attention to Detail: Able to ensure accuracy and completeness in accomplishing tasks
