The English Learner (EL) Curriculum Specialist is responsible for providing direction to and advocating for the English Learner program in LPS. The Curriculum Specialist provides leadership in the development, implementation, and management of the English Learner program across grade levels; determines the assessment program that will accompany the curriculum; provides guidance in establishing appropriate instructional strategies to support multilingual student learning; develops and implements a professional learning plan for educators; oversees the maintenance and continuous improvement of the program; and represents the English Learner program to the community of Lincoln and beyond.
