Position Summary
Livestock Nutrition Center, a leading regional feed manufacturing company, is looking for a skilled and adaptable Technology Support Technician to join our team in Overland Park, KS to provide exceptional technical support to our staff. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a passion for technology.
Job Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, or in person.

Provide remote technical assistance and support for requests and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

Document, route, track, escalate and update staff, as well as management, on status of issues as required.

Continuously monitor our technology stack using our suite of tools for abnormal behavior and reporting or resolving issues before they become a problem.

Build rapport and elicit problem details from non-technical or technical customers.

Collect and analyze feedback, using it as a catalyst for continuous improvement and innovation.

Contribute to the body of knowledge by creating and maintaining knowledge base articles and other technical documents.

Research and stay abreast of new hardware or software that might be used in current or future locations

Perform other support and operational tasks as required.
Requirements, Qualifications, Skills

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are an advantage.

3 years of experience working in working in IT operations.

Priority consideration for experience in the agricultural or manufacturing industries.

Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.

Highly proficient in support ticketing and Reporting Services.

An understanding of the role of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) within an IT environment.

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently but with a team-focused approach within multi-disciplinary teams and quickly adapt to job requirements changing on an ad hoc basis.
