Position Summary:
At Crazy Mountain Ranch, the Fly Fishing is responsible for curating world-class fishing experiences for our guests. Fishing guides are responsible for general upkeep of fishing facilities, fishing equipment, boats, and creek fishing trails.
Job Duties:
- Maintain, clear, and groom all Fly Fishing trails
- Execute guided trips on Reservoirs, Creeks, and Rivers
- Provide guests with excellent customer service
- Provide risk management for guests
- Teach casting lessons for beginners
- Communicate with Lead Fly Fishing Guide on a regular basis regarding equipment needs and guest supplies
- Keep diligent records of licensing and trip details

Competencies:
- Must be able to row a drift boat
- Teaching skills in casting and rowing
- Able to use hand and power tools.
- Must be available on weekends
- Must be able to work alone or with others.
- Must be able to work at night or as needed.
- Must be able to operate vehicles on private and public roads
- Must be able to work outside for long hours
Qualifications:
- Must be passionate about Fly Fishing
- Must be able to provide high level risk management
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
