What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collector position at LoanMart?

We provide fast, professional assistance to financially stressed or credit-challenged segment of borrowers.
ABOUT THE POSITION: You will reduce account delinquency rates by working with our highly valued customers to identify and complete payment opportunities. To accomplish this, you'll:
- Make outbound and inbound calls manually or via auto dialer to collect payments on delinquent accounts.
- Provide effective education and service to our customers to minimize the need for vehicle repossession.
- Set up payment terms and methods with customers, while eliminating customer attempts to delay payment and/or any obstruction to payment opportunities.
- Effectively prioritize accounts and identify prime collection opportunities to optimize collection possibilities.
- Execute standard skip-tracing methods to locate customer and vehicle lead information.
- Follow internal and federal guidelines in accordance with parameters of the FDCPA and other regulations.
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE: Hourly rate plus bonus earnings nets out to between $25 - $33 per hour, depending on your collection effectiveness and efficiency skills.
LOCATION AND SHIFT: This position is currently a hybrid work arrangement, with the home office in Van Nuys, CA. The shift fluctuates between a 7 am and 9 am start time, Mon-Fri, with periodic Saturday shifts. Schedule and hybrid design are subject to change depending on business need.

- Exceptional negotiation and closing capabilities
- Possesses and applies emotional intelligence for the purpose of securing customer payments
- Collections/Skip Tracing experience
- Ability to thrive in fast paced environment.
- Ability to work in and promote a work environment that fosters a positive and effective team building spirit.
- The individual must be driven by personal and team performance goals.
- Must be able to handle High Call Volume
- Practical knowledge and experience complying with the FDCPA
- Previous Dialer System experience.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule and weekends
- Computer/PC proficiency
