We are looking for a full time Network Technicians who will be responsible for configuration and maintenance of company networks and equipment.
The ideal candidate for this position has experience working with network installation and support, high level of customer service, and will be able to proactively identify problems and resolve issues before they become serious.
You will assist with the management of the organization's technology infrastructure. This position works side-by-side with the technology team to optimize services, maintain digital security, and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
In addition, the Network/Systems Technician must provide excellent customer service, the ability to communicate effectively, and effective problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for effeictive maintenance, repair and system upgrades.
- Assist in providing computer/network support relating to software and hardware problems reported by users for multiple platforms.
- Support and maintain the school's computer systems, such as desktops, laptops, tablets.
- Install and configure wireless routers and switches.
- Desktop management, file/print, email, web servers, and firewalls.
- Properly manage electrical and network wiring.
- Calculate network specifications for both power and data needs for new installations.
- Plan and manage installation of server equipment, storage devices, and network cabling.
- Respond to network incidents that take place in the field and the ability to take "on call" emergency sitatuions outside normal working hours.

- Computer networking: 2 years (Preferred)
