Administrative Assistant

About the Position:

  • Manages day-to-day front office operations providing administrative services to agency programs
  • Manages primary business line and distributes calls and massages to the appropriate departments and/or staff members. Triages medical and crisis calls. Manages Lund's telephone and voicemail system.
  • Updates and maintains front office processes and procedures in order to meet the needs of the agency.
  • Assists with the onboarding of new staff hires and Residential client admissions.
  • Aids staff use of all front office equipment including mailing systems, phone systems, photocopiers and fax procedures.
  • Maintains Lund's office supplies and purchases supplies for staff as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

What We Look For:

  • Associates of Bachelors Degree preferred, but not required
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills and accurate attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position either with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to maintain a valid VT Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation. Occasional statewide travel may be required
  • Upon conditional offer of employment, must be able to successfully pass a background check
  • Regular attendance is necessary and essential to meeting the expectations of the job

  • Ability to understand and comply with operational standards, safety requirements, and employee policies as outlined by the residential program and Children’s Integrated Services

  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully both orally and in writing
  • Proficiency in the use of applicable hardware and software as required
