We are looking for a Professional Water Resources Engineer to join our clients' team in Eastern Idaho. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the planning, design, and construction of water resources projects, with a focus on irrigation infrastructure.
- Typical projects include master planning, hydraulic modeling, and the design of pipelines, canals, pump stations, hydraulic structures, wells, small dams, and storage ponds.
- Assist with business development by building client relationships and contributing to proposal preparation.
- Develop scopes of work, contracts, and design budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, operators, regulatory and funding agencies, and contractors to meet project goals.
- Participate in client and public meetings to communicate project details and gather input.
- Conduct fieldwork such as construction observation, equipment monitoring, and site reconnaissance.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff including engineers-in-training, drafters, and field personnel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
- 5 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $94,000 - $135,000 annually, based on experience.
