This firm is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join them in their Richmond, VA office.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development. - multi-family residential and commercial development.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- P.E License is required
- Proficiency in in AUTOCAD, Civil 3D, Hydraflow and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in grading, erosion and sediment control, utility design, stormwater management, water and sewer and, drainage and site plans.
Brief Responsibilities:
- Manage project design including technical quality, processes, cost, schedule and people.
- Collaborate with the project managers and other engineers/architects on complex projects.
- Supervise and prepare design documents, specifications and cost estimates.
- Detailed design experience and QA/QC checks.
- Prepare studies and reports.
- Identify and manage client deliverable and expectations.
- Permitting and coordination with federal, state, and local municipalities.
