Mallory Safety and Supply is currently looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our Onsite Team in Fremont, California!
Job Summary: In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting one of our major customers in the Denver area with the replenishment of product in vending machines and cabinets, along with the routine inspection of first aid cabinets, eye wash stations, and other safety items at the customer facility. The equipment you will be stocking, inspecting, and working with is there to save lives; therefore, attention to detail, integrity, and a deep appreciation for safety is very important. We are looking for flexible yet dedicated team member who is passionate about safety and meeting customer expectations.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None
As an Inventory Specialist, here’s what a typical day might look like:
- Restock reports and product picking for vending machines on client site
- Replenishment of vending machines on client site, 1-3 times weekly
- Receives product and stocks it in the warehouse
- Conducts warehouse inventory audits
- Warehouse organization and cleanliness
- VMI order entry in P21 ERP system as well as replenishment
- Regular maintenance and repair of vending machines on client site
- Replenishment of earplug VMI stations, site wide
- Weekly inspection of eyewash stations
- Bi-annual replacement of eyewash station water and preservative bacteriostat

Here’s what we’re looking for in an InventorySpecialist:
- Experience with SAP computer software is required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency with other computer software, including the Microsoft Suite and excel preferred
Desired Inventory Specialist Experience:
- Valid Driver’s License w/ one year of driving experience – driving record must meet requirements outlined by our Safe Driver Policy
- Must be comfortable and willing to travel locally in the Portland area
- Candidate with their own car required; mileage reimbursement provided if required to use for work
- Merchandising, warehouse, and/or inventory experience highly preferred
- ERP experience, preferably with Prophet21
- Knowledge of the safety industry or safety supplies desired
Inventory Specialist Physical Requirements:
- Lifting up to 50 pounds consistently
- Bending, stooping, and twisting consistently
- Driving to and from client site
- Walking consistently
