A mission-driven, global research-focused organization in the Boston area is seeking a Marketing & Communications Lead to support its continued growth. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy across multiple channels while strengthening brand positioning, stakeholder engagement, and external visibility.

- Develop and lead the organization’s communications strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment across all channels.
- Create, edit, and optimize content including website copy, social media posts, email campaigns, blog articles, and promotional materials.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Track and analyze campaign performance using key metrics to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage website updates and enhancements, including participation in redesign initiatives to improve engagement and usability.
- Oversee marketing and execution of organizational events such as webinars, annual meetings, and participation in external conferences.
- Build and manage relationships with external partners and key stakeholders to advance organizational objectives.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives aligned with the organization’s mission.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- At least 3 years of experience leading communications strategy and execution with demonstrated results.
- Minimum of 5 years of overall experience in marketing and communications, preferably within a research, healthcare, nonprofit, or science-related environment.
- Understanding of clinical research, data sharing, or clinical trial disclosure is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience managing external partnerships or stakeholder relationships.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce compelling content across multiple channels.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and multimedia content.
- Strong proficiency with standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Office, collaboration and file-sharing tools).
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, healthcare, science, or a related field.
