Essential Functions:
- Provides basic nursing, personal care, and assistance to residents
- Assists with transporting residents to and from the dining area
- Assists residents with toileting, changing, and bathroom privileges
- Turns residents confined in bed and assists with bed-making
- Assists with maintenance and storage of residents' clothing and belongings and cleanliness of the environment
- Takes and records residents' vital signs
- Cleans a variety of equipment
- Carries out proper cleansing and PPE with care for residents
- Empties soiled laundry bins and trash cans
- Performs range of motion
- Assists resident with feeding and monitors food and liquid intake for nutritional status 12. Informs charge nurse of changes in residents' condition
- Provides post-mortem care
- Documents all care and notifies nurse of any refusals of care or change in resident's condition
- Performs other work as required
