As a member of the Martin’s Family, t he production trainer is responsible for providing excellent training to provide new and existing employees with the tools they need to thrive at Martin’s.
- Develops classroom, on-the-job, and recurrence training for Dough Preparation and Packaging positions.
- Develops training models for current employees to assist in on-the-job training of new and existing employees.
- Determines instructional methods for training by taking into account the needs of each position and effectiveness of different learning methods.
- Develops standard operating procedures for production operations.
- Audits standard operating procedures with supervision and management and makes necessary recommendations regarding changes to procedures.
- Conducts classroom and on-the-job training for new hires, re-trainings, or new procedures and/or equipment.
- Assists supervisors with evaluating new hire and employee performance after completion of training.
- Assists supervisors with additional training for employees with performance issues and/or knowledge gaps.
- Conducts annual Food Safety/GMP training for Production, Sanitation, and Maintenance.
- Confers with management, sanitation and maintenance department to understand changes and improvements in technologies, procedures, and regulations.
- Adheres to and enforces safety, food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations.
- Reports safety, food safety, and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Associates Degree highly preferred;
- Food Manufacturing experience preferred;
- Previous training background.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn new systems
- Must be able to travel to facilities outside local area at a minimum of 25% of schedule .
- Must to work off shift hours to reach personnel working multiple shifts.
- Must work in both office and production environment to provide quality training experience.
Salary : $32,800 - $41,500
