Position Summary: Medivis is seeking a dynamic Operations Associate / Coordinator with 0-2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment—ideally in medical devices, healthcare, or engineering. A strong background in manufacturing project management, combined with meticulous organizational and communication skills, is essential to excel in this position. This is a great role for a recent grad looking to get a headstart in a career in Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing & Supply Chain Oversight
- Coordinate hardware inventory management, including production of 3D-printed parts (and post-processing) and procurement of off-the-shelf components.
- Assemble parts, perform preventive maintenance of machines, coordinate with engineering stakeholders
- Update SOPs and Work Instructions based on changes to design and manufacturing process.
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal quality standards, including FDA, ISO, and other relevant medical device regulations.
Operational Coordination & Facilities Support
- Coordinate day-to-day operations such as ordering supplies, maintaining common areas, and ensuring smooth office functionality
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding operational logistics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in operations, manufacturing engineering, or project management roles—ideally within a healthcare or medical device context.
- Proven success in managing cross-functional projects with competing priorities and strict deadlines.
- Working knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (FDA, ISO 13485) and quality management systems.
- Experience generating or following SOPs specific to medical device design and production.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Note: This is an in-person role at the Medivis office in Flatiron, Manhattan, NYC.
