Medical Assistant (MA-C) – Family Medicine (Bellevue)
Join a fantastic Family Medicine Practice, with the largest nonprofit healthcare provider in Washington State. We are currently expanding our Bellevue facility with a brand-new wing and an additional provider to better serve our vibrant, diverse community.
We are looking for a high-energy, compassionate Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive, personalized care.
The Opportunity
- Location: Bellevue, WA (Expanding facility)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Training: Comprehensive 1-month onboarding including shadowing, hands-on demonstrations with the Lead MA, and 2 days of specialized EPIC training.
- Contract to hire: 800 hours with opportunity for conversion
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support in a high-volume family medicine setting, managing both scheduled appointments and frequent walk-in patients.
- Deliver a curated, personalized healthcare experience to a diverse patient population.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of providers to ensure seamless clinic flow.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) using EPIC.
Required Qualifications
- Certification: Active Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) through the Washington State DOH.
- We are also open to candidates with an MA-C Interim certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months clinical experience preferred; however, we welcome newly externed MAs who are eager to learn.
- Compliance: Must pass a Background Check and Drug Screen. Documentation of TB, MMR, Varicella, and Tdap vaccinations is required.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual Fluency: Strongly preferred in Spanish or Punjabi to support our diverse patient base.
- Tech Savvy: Prior experience with EPIC is a significant plus.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a busy, "on-your-feet" environment.
