Associate Medical Director

Job Summary:

The Medical Director will serve as a clinical leader within the Hematology Program, overseeing late-stage and life cycle management development activities, with a strong focus on Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). This role provides medical and strategic leadership for clinical programs, regulatory interactions, and business development efforts, and contributes to the design and execution of clinical trials and data generation strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical development strategy and execution for hematology programs, with emphasis on ALL (adult and pediatric).
• Provide medical oversight and strategic guidance on ongoing studies, including CSR completion and new study design planning.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to prepare and present strategic clinical plans for internal governance.
• Support regulatory preparation and interactions for potential new sponsored studies.
• Provide clinical insights for business development evaluations of late-stage assets.
• Serve as medical monitor, ensuring compliance with GCP and alignment with regulatory and company objectives.
• Review clinical and safety data to support decision-making and evidence-based communication.
• Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), support advisory board activities, and contribute to publications and investigator-led studies.

Qualifications:

• M.D. required; board certification in Hematology/Oncology strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience, preferably with regulatory interaction experience.
• Proven leadership in clinical development within the Hematology/Oncology space.
• Strong communication, teaching, and mentoring skills; ability to lead in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Demonstrated operational execution, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage timelines and team dynamics.
• Experience with clinical risk assessment, safety evaluation, and authoring key clinical documentation.
