FT and Long-Term
Schedule: M-F
Pay: $22-26/hr ;BOE
Job Overview: Our customer is seeking a dependable Concrete Carpenter to support daily operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, assembling, and removing concrete forms, placing and finishing concrete, and ensuring all work is performed according to project specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and set forms for foundations, walls, columns, and slabs
- Install reinforcement materials such as rebar, wire mesh, and anchor bolts
- Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete using trowels, floats, screeds, and other tools
- Monitor curing and apply finishing treatments to ensure proper setting
- Dismantle and remove forms once concrete is set
- Perform basic carpentry tasks related to concrete molds and structural supports
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications:
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have your own basic carpentry tools to bring daily
- Proven experience as a concrete carpenter or in a similar role
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Strong understanding of concrete pouring, finishing, and curing techniques
- OSHA certification a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, or scaffolding
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Safety:
- Steel Toe boots are REQUIRED & Full PPE
