MEMCO is looking to hire Painters in Atlanta, GA!
Pay: $20/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday; FT and Long-Term
MEMCO seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. We believe that 80% of a great paint job is the preparation, so we need someone who takes "prep work" seriously. You will be responsible for providing high-quality interior and exterior finishes for our clients, ensuring clean lines, even coats, and a spotless job site.
Key Responsibilities
- Surface Preparation: Scrape, sand, patch, and prime surfaces. Expertly fill cracks and holes with putty or caulk to ensure a smooth finish.
- Site Protection: Mask off trim, windows, and floors. Use drop cloths and plastic to ensure zero "overspray" or drips on client property.
- Application: Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and [mention if you use sprayers, e.g., airless sprayers].
- Color Matching: Assist in mixing and matching colors to ensure consistency across all surfaces.
- Cleanup: Maintain a tidy workspace throughout the day and perform a deep clean of all tools and the job site upon completion.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 1–3 years of professional painting experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with different types of paint (latex, oil-based, low-VOC) and their appropriate applications.
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable working on ladders (up to 16 feet), standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability: You show up on time, every time. A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions clearly and interact professionally with clients if needed.
A pre-employment drug screen will be required for this position.
