THE JOB:
As a Backserver, you will be responsible for setting the stage for an excellent guest experience by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables to ensure smooth service, in our brand-new seafood-style restaurant, Coraline's. By understanding the guests' unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING RATE:$10.00/hr
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Consistently provide a positive guest experience by bussing and setting up tables, cleaning, sanitizing, and polishing dishware while maintaining the appearance of the front and back-of-house areas to company standards.
- Ensure guest safety by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
- Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Has at least a year of fine-dining experience
- Is proficient in working under pressure in high-volume operations
- Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences
- Describes themselves as detail-oriented
- Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression
- Can handle multiple tasks at one time
