THE JOB:
The primary responsibility of the Showroom Ticket Clerk is to sell tickets for internal shows, events, exhibits, and attractions across all properties while delivering exceptional guest service and providing WOW experiences for guests. The Clerk will handle cash transactions accurately, address guest inquiries, and resolve service issues to exceed guest expectations.
STARTING RATE:$15 an hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Ticket Sales & Service: Sell tickets, upsell, cross-sell, and process ticket orders, including will call, for shows, events, exhibits, and attractions at all properties, while providing prompt and courteous service to all guests.
Ticket Verification: Perform ticket verification prior to guest entry for exhibits and events.
Guest Assistance: Provide detailed information about property facilities and services, answering guest questions and resolving complaints within the scope of authority.
Cash Handling: Utilize and balance a cash drawer, processing ticket sales with various payment methods.
System Operation: Interpret and operate multiple computer and ticketing systems with accuracy.
Phone Etiquette: Answer multi-line telephones using proper etiquette.
Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as requested.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Availability: Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
Strong Customer Service Skills: Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor while addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues.
Ticketing/Entertainment Experience: Previous experience in ticketing or the entertainment industry, with a solid understanding of event operations and guest needs.
Proficiency in Ticketing Systems: Familiarity with operating ticketing systems and software, with attention to accuracy and detail in processing orders and handling transactions.
Effective Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and team members in a courteous and professional manner.
