MHS is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Head of Elementary Division. This is an on-site position located in Hershey, PA. Starting pay is in the range of $22.11- $29.53 an hour, pay is determined based on experience. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in contributing to the smooth operations of the division, as well as coordination throughout the school. Some of the responsibilities include:
- Extensive scheduling utilizing Microsoft Outlook.
- Facilitating information flow through collecting, coordinating, consolidating, and disseminating information to multiple stakeholders.
- Assisting with the coordination of internal and external meetings, as well as events.
- Drafting and finalizing documentation in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Google.
- Handling purchasing, expense tracking, and monitoring multiple budgets.
- Maintaining and organizing flies and records for easy tracking of documents, audit trails, etc.
- Ensuring smooth operations of the office for the division.
- Collaborating with other administrative support members in scholastic and throughout the school.
- Replying to general inquiries through email, telephone, or in-person.
- Other duties as needed including data entry, special projects and more.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 years of experience in successful office administration in a high-volume setting.
- Budget administration required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, Google Suite applications, internet utilization and office equipment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including verbal and written.
- Excellent project management skills, including time management, organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently as well as to collaborate in a team environment.
- High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and high-quality customer service required.
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are considered role models for students.
