We are hiring married couples to become flex houseparents. As a flex houseparent, you will reside on-campus in a student home and guide and nurture a group of approximately 8-12 students. You will provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
Responsibilities
· Provide a safe and supportive environment for students
· Develop and maintain relationships with students and their families
· Handle various administrative tasks, including budgeting and reporting
· Drive student vans and administer medication as needed
Qualifications
· Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
· Couples must be legally married for at least two years
· Both spouses should be age 27 or older
· No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
· Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
· Limitations on pets; only fish and one dog of approved breeds permitted
· Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
· High school diploma or GED required
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and demonstrate high integrity as a role model for students
Salary : $43,825 - $165,000
