Responsibilities

• Audit of rates, dates of stay, correction of revenues, review of contracts, and filing.
• Follow up on due dates for payment, deposit dates, and work with other departments in collection of data.  Provide accounts, posting charge requests, and general information to other departments.
• Answer telephone; provide assistance to guests and other departments.
• Work with Hotel and Accounts Receivable related systems to research guest back up and related billing issues.
• Data entry and group reconciliations. Work with system reports and spreadsheets to detail larger audits.
• Provide timely billing and follow up on issues or Collections. Audit accurately providing adjustments and/or correction of related issues to audits.
• Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data
• Track and reconcile ATM and Cash Advance Transactions on an ongoing basis.
• Returned check tracking in conjunction with corporate collection manager.
• prepare end of month journal entries relating to accounts receivable. 

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.Experience in Accounts Payable-gaming industry preferred but not required
• Demonstrate experience with general ledger account reconciliations including month end closin
• Processes and knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience in an electronic accounts payable processing environment
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word
• The ability to multi-task and willingness to learn new skills
• Demonstrate a positive attitude
• Detail oriented.
• Is personable and approachable
• Believes there is a solution to every problem-a problem solver
• Willing to assist team members in order to meet deadlines as well as work overtime to meet department deadlines
• Frequent lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds, sit for long period of times at desk lasting up to 4 hours
• Data entry in main frame computer system processing an average of 300 invoices weekly
• 10-key by touch, daily alphabetizing and numerical sequencing of documents for assigned accounts
