Job Summary / Key Responsibilities :
JOB SUMMARY
The Collections Clerk facilitates the collection of delinquent accounts, by contacting customers and requiring the payment of overdue fees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Requests and pursues payment on delinquent accounts via communication with account holder.
- Follows established guidelines to review and update account status.
- Maintains log of payment promises and pertinent account details, schedules follow-up communication with account holder.
- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with customers.
- Provides timely and accurate response to customer inquiries and to our overseas agents.
- Follows corporate guidelines when addressing customer inquiries regarding shipments.
- Escalates unique or complex customer issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution when necessary.
- Generates potential solutions to customer issues.
- Provides feedback regarding current corporate practices and metrics to support process efficiencies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
