Overview: National Granite Luxuries, dba/National Design Mart CNC Programmers are responsible for ensuring that the customer expectations are being met by ensuring the product selected is cut and fabricated according the work order.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the granite industry.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve.
- Knowledge of different stone.
- Ability to participate effectively as a team member.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- CNC Programming (90%)
Work in conjunction with saw programmer, preview layout of scheduled jobs, meet department goals
- Knowledge & Training (10%)
Identifies personal growth needs and improvement opportunities; seeks to obtain product information; learns and assists others in learning about the CNC machine, CNC machine operating and installation techniques; communicates with others.
Physical Aspects
- Ability to operate computer programs
- Ability to operation a forklift
Equipment Used
- CNC machines, Alpha cam
- Completes all necessary paperwork
- Performs numerical computations using an adding machine and/or calculator.
- Knows the functions of and uses a variety building industry related tools.
